Detailed Floral Thinlets - Floral Phrases

There are so many things you can do with your stampset and Die cuts.. you can create a whole suite of projects... the only limit is your imagination...

I made this cute little survival pack based on one that Felicity made for her Team members that went to On Stage earlier on this year... The were so cute I just had to do some for classes too..

Inside there was a box of tissues, a lip gloss. a mini toothbrush and paste, some tiny tic-tacs and a free sampler of face moisturiser... Later on I added a nail file and a KFC hand wipe..Of course the wipe was covered in coordinating DSP.. Cause the red on the KFC wipe is not pretty..

I googled this card design.. I loved it...I cant remember who I should give credit to for this design.. but I do love it.. It is very elegant!!!

You could also use the Die cuts to create cute bonboneries for a wedding or a party event... Joanne gave me one of these with a couple of chockies in it to say thank you...

This card is also very elegant.. It would be a great wedding card.. Invite or a lovely sympathy card (with a different greeting of course)...

I love that you can Google our stamp sets or search on Pinterest to get SO many ideas if you are stuck... And if you see design that you like you can substitute the stamps for something else.. or just simply be inspired by several cards and creatively combine them together in one masterful work of art!!!

Here's to thinking outside the box and creating a variety of projects with your beloved stamp sets and die cuts!!!
ENJOY!!!!

Star Box

The Beautiful Rosa taught us how to make this FABULOUS box at one of our training meetings in 2016.. It is so cute... And AWESOME to learn how to do..  using your star framlets (133723)....... you two can make one of these..

Simply cut out two big stars as your base and top of the box.. then cut out strips of matching DSP of the height you would like your box plus 1.5cm for adhering onto base or lid..
Score at 1.5cm long ways... Measure the length of one of the points and score that measurement 10 times on the DSP length .... (you may need to join 2 pieces of DSP to get length needed to go all the way around the box) Then score 1cm at the end to glue inside box ... cut out a triangle in each score line on the 1.5cm strip... the overlapped angle cut edges are glued to base to form the lid and the box base... You do have to be sure that one is slightly bigger than the other......

Have fun making this BEAUTIFUL box... XXOO

Easter Class - 2011

Easter Card and Basket - Punch Art

This is what was created for my Easter class... 3 cute little bunnies on a card with fluffy tails.. Inspiration for this one was from the internet somewhere... I remember seeing it ages ago.... on several blogs...  Also we made this FANTASTIC little basket - template was given to me from Fiona (KENG craft group)... Aaron was a dear once again and used his engineering skills to draw it up for me so that I could easily print it out onto the card stock... His quote was... "I knew I studied for a reason.. It's good to see that I can use my skills to help you craft!"... He loves it... Helping me is a pleasure ^_^ ... He is a perfectionist too!!! And that makes all his templates work.. PERFECTLY!!!!  Once this one was cut out we stamped with the wood-grain background stamp to give it a more authentic pick-nick basket kind of look. The white bunnies tail was coloured by using corresponding chalks or ink pads... (HiNT - If you do use ink pads be sure to give it time to dry as it does not stick well if it is not dry.. and it falls off and it makes a dirty mark on the bunnies bottom.. which does not look too good... If you get my drift??? I have one card here that looks very Australian Sheep looking... :)

PaperANGELS April 2010 meeting

We made these two lovely projects at our April meeting.. how cool are they???
They both feature something that has been cut using the Big Shot....

Big Shot Magnettic Movers CardThis card uses the Magnetic Movers & Shapers (pg. 9 Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue 2010)
The window in this one matches our Curly Label Punch and Stamp set on page 153 of the Australian 209-2010 Catalogue.....
AND....... This STUNNINGLY CUTE box uses the Scallop Circle Die (pg. 8 Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue 2010) and what is even better.. is that because it was a rather small attendance being that it was on a long weekend and lots of people had other plans.. well those of us who were dedicated enough (*dig dig.. *wink Wink... heheh) to attend got great blessings!!!! We got 2 Cadbury Picnic bars to fill the box... Yeah for Chocolate... I thought this was a great idea for a cute box for party treats.. and not so hard to make either...

Lady Bug Box - Lg Big Shot Scallop Circle DieI can't wait to see some variations on this cute design... Alien... Halloween pumpkins etc...

My only problem was Liz made us wait for instructions.. man... It really taught me some patience... argghhh!!! hheheheh

ELCTRIC BLUE Wedding

I LOVE LOVE LOVE This new Card I designed with a bride last week.... She is having Electric Blue as part of the colour theme and Butterflies galore... So I purchased the new 'All a Flutter' (pg 35, 2010 Autumn-Winter Mini) butterfly stamp in the Mini.. in the hope that it would be suitable to her needs...

After playing around with a few ideas for a couple of hours we are settled on these designs...
We've gone with the Gate Fold card... and a belly band... With the Butterfly embossed in silver... How classy does this look??? I am LOVING IT!!! And so is my Bride... Which is BRILLIANT!!!

ELCTRIC BLUE Wedding Invite
Then for the Bobonaries we have gone with this look....

ELCTRIC BLUE Wedding Bonbon TreatThere will be Thank you's and place cards to make and design still.... I believe we should have it all wrapped up quite well; soon... .. and very in tune with the theme!!!

Things from Liz

Cute Choc BoxLiz made us these lovely little boxes with some chocolate bars wrapped in DSP for a Christmas gift.. It was lovely...

Then this one was a gift for the coordinators of the PaperANGELS Christmas Card workshops... It's a great idea for a gift to say thanks or a hosted booking award or intensive...
Bucket of Thanks GIft
And these were the last meeting for 2009 PaperANGELS training projects... I love the fact that in PaperANGELS we are so hands on!!! We receive so much inspiration at our meetings.. It's what drives us all to be better and gives us the ways and mean to know how to... Creative people are visual.. you can talk to them and give them instructions till the cows come home.. some will be ok with that and succeed.. but those of us who struggle to read instructions.. (ME).. It just makes it all more solid if you have had first hand experience.. especially if you have the chance to make mistakes that your customers may make... You look way more polished and professional!!! Trick of the trade... Practice b4 you do!!!Cards and Bon Bon Cracker

Cake Slice Bonbonniere

This was dreamed up because of Leonie... She came over one day and saw the boxes that Aaron had been busily designing... She really liked the Slice box... And later asked if she could have the pattern because she wanted to enter it into one of our PaperANGELS monthly Challenges... This was our embellishment Challenge in July... She won... I told it cause it was of our wonderful cake box!!! heheh..

So anyway I LOVED it and had to make one for myself.. With this one I have made the flower with the scallop circle punch and our beautiful Raspberry Tart DSP.. I cut out 9 in DSP and one in Rose Red Card Stock. I then pleated each DSP scallop (not the card one) between each hump and then glued them on to the scallop in the center with our Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive...6 form the bottom layer and 3 sit in the top layer... Then I took my 2-Way Glue Pen and added some glue to the edges of each scallop and sprinkled light Pink Serpernova Glitter on it and shook off the excess....

I LOVE Sparkly bling bling!!! How beautiful is this embellishment... Very special indeed...
Cake Slice Bon Bon Top ViewTo add a little more to the outside of the rather white stark box I wrapped it with some Rose Red 1" Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.. I hid the join at the back of the box with a piece that was overturned to look a little like a buckle... Looking at it now close up perhaps I should have had the stitching run the same way... but oh well that is just minor.. I love it.. How divine would this look on the table for a wedding or 21st or something very elegant and sophisticated...
Gorgeous Cake Slice BonbonniereWARNING... It is time consuming making the embellishment and hand cutting the box.. so do not go for hundreds.. else you will be having nightmares of the box chasing you and eating you up!!! ARGHHH... hehe

Have fun... Love Ursula

Izras Birthday today... Bag toppers...

This was my idea of something to do for Izra's Birthday.. He really wanted to have a party with all his class mates.. and because of Aaron being sick and The Arty Farty Tea Party having a party with kids was just the last thing I wanted to do... so I did the next best thing... Asked him if I took a cake to school and some party stuff.. would that be ok... He was STOKED!!! So Leonie came over yesterday to help me wrap some more of the raffle prizes and prepare for the Arty Farty Make 'n' Takes... Then she was ever so kind and helped me with 30 bag toppers!!! Yeah... The were a Hit.. and how easy were they??? We did it in about 30mins or so... Well worth the time.. cause it is personalised and really cheep and cool!!!

We used the Party Hearty stamp set (pg 43 Aus/NZ Idea Catalogue)Birthday Party Bag toppersHappy 7th Birthday my little man!!! Muwah... Mummy loves you...

Wedding Bonbonneries - Treasure Chest Type

I made these for a client just recently.. I tried to get some padlocks to make them look more like a treasure chest.. only there was none to be found!!! I substituted the padlocks for interlocking hearts.. I thought that was nice... Nice symbol for marriage too!!! Two hearts becoming one... (* sighs and looks glossy eyed... thinking of the whole romance of that statement!)

She was getting married on the Beach and was having a 'Treasure Chest' instead of a 'Wishing Well'.. So love that idea!!! Thought that the gold coin chocolate would be a good thing to go in them too.. as it is kind of treasure chesty!!!

Treasure Chest Wedding Bonbonneries
Mass producing these boxes is definitely a labour of LOVE!!! Takes for eva!!! So glad my lovely Hubbie was willing and able to help me out.. else she may never have received them on time!!!

I put a little Vellum tag on each one with their names and Date of the wedding..(After I was reminded that I forgot.. I seem to be having a lot of BLOND Moments lately!!!... SOOOOOOOOOOO unprofessional!!My heart is there... But the head is lacking some what..)

Treasure Chest Wedding Bonbonnerie - Single
All is well in the end... They turned out beautiful.. I was very happy with them..
And so was the Bride (when I fixed the overlooked bits!!! )

Elisa's Elegant Invites

I think I am in love!!!! Every now and then you create something that is just beautiful!!! I believe with this card design I have we have hit the nail on the head!!!

I used Stampin' UP! Brushed Gold card stock and scored it so that it folds like a door...
I cut slits in the middle of each door to insert ribbon so that I can tie a bow to close the card..
I stamped with the border stamp from 'It's Maori Mate' Stamp set, and embossed it with gold embossing powder.Elegant Gold Invites
The Stamp-a- ma-jig was an invaluable tool to help me to get the design perfectly in line!!

I scanned the negative of the photo and blurred the background and made it Black and White.
I attached the invite and the photo underneath with a little bow kept in place with a gold brad.

Mass production.... They all look so NICE... It was hard to give them up!!!!! Lucky for Photos!!!

Hera's Wedding Invites & Bonbonniere

I was able to design some lovely invites with a Beautiful "Bride to be"... I made a few examples for her to choose from and then once she had her photos done she was ready to make the final design decision...Wedding Invite SamplesThe 3 examples to choose from.... What will they be like???

Wedding Invite - This is the oneHera wanted to have the BEAUTIFUL photo to be the focus of the invite.. so we simplified the design heaps... And I found some Maori Art to put on the background of the vellum invite details so she could have some traditional homeland feel to it...

I love this photo!!! My girlfriend Nardia took it... She is a brilliant photographer.. She catches the inner beauty of people spectacularly!!! Take a closer look at the photo.. It looks like the top of their heads and the pointed elbows form a HEART shape!!! So brilliant!!!
Check out Nardia's Web site..... Click Here

This is and idea for the Boxes.. to be decided soon..

Wedding BonbonniereWe were thinking that you could also put people names on the Bonbonniere's... That way they serve a double purpose... As a gift and a place card...
