Paper ANGELS Event - Fresh Inspirations

You are invited to our Paper Angels 2nd quarterly event.... 'Fresh Inspirations'
Hope you can come... Please RSVP ASAP

If you are unable to attend but would like to enter the card comp (helping raise funds for the Mater Mothers Bereavement and other hospitals if we can expand.. as we would hope to) PLEASE get your entries to me B4 the event dates and $1 for every entry.. if you want to be cheeky you could enter in each event??? MORE chances to win...... (This is my thoughts & idea on fundraising more.. (not sure if it is co-sure... may have to ok that with Liz & other Demonstrators ... but may get us to our target sooner!!!) The more entries the more product and card stock we can purchase to donate directly to the Bereavement programs!! Every $1 counts and goes directly to the program..

We are also looking at advertising on Radio.. for the first time in our PaperANGELS 'life' of events... (all of 2 years we are but infants too!!! Growing so fast though!!) 96.5 will be putting us on the community notice board and may be giving us some air time... We are in the process of contacting more radio stations as well... so it could grow to be a monSTAR!!!

Fresh Inspiration’
JUNE CARD MAKING AFTERNOON

You are invited to spend an afternoon of fun and creativity with the Paper Angels Group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Learn some great new techniques such as ‘Bleaching’ and ‘Serendipity Card Design’ using the very beautiful ‘Fresh Cuts’ Stamp Set. You will also have the opportunity to work with the gorgeous new In Colors as well as other new products from the 2009 / 2010 Idea Book and Catalogue. Tables are allocated for this event and therefore places are strictly limited.

Card Competition & Raffles

We will be running Card Competitions at all venues. Each entry will cost $1, which will go directly to the Mater Mothers Bereavement Program. Card entries will be judged by all our customers, who will have the opportunity to view and vote on the cards. We will also have some fabulous RAFFLE PRIZES donated by Stampin’ Up! Australia and our Paper Angels Demonstrator Group. These proceeds will assist us in continuing to supply equipment to the Mater Mothers Bereavement Program as well as assisting other Brisbane Hospitals as funds allow.

Inspirational Weddings

Inspirational Weddings is a book that I have put together for Brides to have a look at to be inspired.. It has wording for invites etc, pictures of Bononnieres, filler ideas, Matching stationary ideas... etc etc... I had to decorate the cover... Of course.. So it looks pretty.. Inside I have different coloured Tabs that I made with our Round Tab punch...


It all helps to make decisions...

Elisa's Elegant Invites

I think I am in love!!!! Every now and then you create something that is just beautiful!!! I believe with this card design I have we have hit the nail on the head!!!

I used Stampin' UP! Brushed Gold card stock and scored it so that it folds like a door...
I cut slits in the middle of each door to insert ribbon so that I can tie a bow to close the card..
I stamped with the border stamp from 'It's Maori Mate' Stamp set, and embossed it with gold embossing powder.
The Stamp-a- ma-jig was an invaluable tool to help me to get the design perfectly in line!!

I scanned the negative of the photo and blurred the background and made it Black and White.
I attached the invite and the photo underneath with a little bow kept in place with a gold brad.


Mass production.... They all look so NICE... It was hard to give them up!!!!! Lucky for Photos!!!

Elisa's Frangipani Wedding Invites

Another one of my Brides is getting married on the beach and she loves Frangipani's... She gave me her colour theme and I came up with these designs.... They could be used for anything really... Any one that loves Frangipani's...

We have changed the design totally... But these are some great samples!!! heheh

Birthday Parcel

A girlfriend asked me to do some invites for her daughter's 16th birthday.. I came up with this... I like inventing something new... I think it is new anyway... I've not seen anything like it...



Card:- Black & Lavender old stock (Stampin’ Up similar Basic Black & Lavender Lace), Glossy White
Stamp Sets:- Wonderful Words, Beyond the Basics, Simply Said
Ink:- Staz On, VersaMark, Pale Plum, and an old Kalidascope ink pad (not Stampin’ Up)
Coloured:- with blender pens in Kalidascope pad,
Other Materials:- Orange bargain shop ribbon, Gold Brad
Measurements… 21cm long x 11cm wide… score at 4cm & 13cm
