Shabby Chic Flowers

I love all things Shabby Chic and Feminine... What better way to combine all of this than in a lovely scrapbook page?...

It feels like FOREVER ago now... in 2009 I went with a wonderful group of singers from the Queensland Festival Chorus to Singapore to perform in the Esplanade with the AMAZINGLY Talented Orchestra of the Music Makers... It was such a brilliant experience.. And I was able to share it with some lovely people some of whom I know will be life long friends...

These flowers are made with our wonderful Stampin' UP! punches... The Large one is made with the Scallop Circle (1-3/4") punch and six layers of the First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP)...
The small one is made with the first layer of the Doily Triple Layer punch... again there is six layers of DSP...
The lovely Blushing Bride flower is made with 2 layers of Blossom Punch, 3 layers of the 5- Petal Flower Punch and 2 layers of the medium flower in the Boho Blossom Punch.. You need to wet the card stock and then scrunch it to give it the shaping... once it drys it keeps its shape beautifully..

Why I love Stampin' UP!

I Started Stamping & Scraping when my first Child was born in 2000... I had so much trouble finding the "RIGHT" embellishments and papers to go together.. It was often a 3 day chore to run around to all the scrapbook places I knew of to find them! I was so stuck in a rut.. and board with the lack of variety and wasted time. I was collecting stamps... but not using them because cleaning them at the sink with a tooth brush got tiresome and messy!! And totally broke my creative mojo!!! Then I was introduced to Stampin' UP! at a friends workshop... I was the guest that said.. "Oh I have so much stuff at home that I just don't use now!! I don't need anymore"!!! You know the whinging type... Yep it was me to a tee!! Well I bought the Stampin' Scrub... I could see a use for that... LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!! Then I went to another Workshop at the same friends a few months later.. I loved the Stampin' Pastels. I have wanted some for quite a while.. and these ones had twice as many colours in them as the ones I had seen in the shops.. and for HALF THE PRICE!!! "That's mine!" I said... THEN>>> I booked a workshop... I realised this time that I Loved the perfect images Stampin' UP! stamps would do every time!!! I had 16 friends attend my first workshop! I achieved over $700 in sales.. and I am sure at least $200 was my order alone!!! I WANT better images!!! Signing up was a great Idea!! Soon after that I signed in May 2007... And I strongly believe I will never look back!!! * I love the fact that I can create beautiful projects. * I love the fact that I can work around my family's events * I love the fact that I belong to the BEST EVER Stampin' UP! team - The PaperANGELS * I love the fact that I am now surrounded by beautiful people each and every day, who share my passion of all things crafty!!! * I love the fact that being a Stampin' UP! demonstrator provides me with the tools to help others, be involved in their lives (sometimes in a very personal way), make new friends, And have a GREAT time!!!
