Nailed It Stamp Set and Build It Framelets

This is a great male stamp set... I made these cards ages ago. the set is now retired but I think it is one that I will not get rid of in a hurry.... Just casue you can create AWESOME cards for guys with it!!

I love the 3D Dynamic Textured Impression Embossing Folders..  the Hexagons (143241 - $16) is FANTASTIC for male cards too....

The Denim card background is created using a little acrylic white paint on a foam brush and lightly dragging across the card...

This cute Gift Card holder card is a great way to present a Gift Card.. and they are super easy to create.. out of one A4 sheet of card stock you can make 3 pouches.... AWESOME class to teach...

Manly Gifts and Cards are sometimes difficult.. but you can make them easily with the right techniques and fun stamp sets!!

Enjoy creating

Detailed Floral Thinlets - Floral Phrases

There are so many things you can do with your stampset and Die cuts.. you can create a whole suite of projects... the only limit is your imagination...

I made this cute little survival pack based on one that Felicity made for her Team members that went to On Stage earlier on this year... The were so cute I just had to do some for classes too..

Inside there was a box of tissues, a lip gloss. a mini toothbrush and paste, some tiny tic-tacs and a free sampler of face moisturiser... Later on I added a nail file and a KFC hand wipe..Of course the wipe was covered in coordinating DSP.. Cause the red on the KFC wipe is not pretty..

I googled this card design.. I loved it...I cant remember who I should give credit to for this design.. but I do love it.. It is very elegant!!!

You could also use the Die cuts to create cute bonboneries for a wedding or a party event... Joanne gave me one of these with a couple of chockies in it to say thank you...

This card is also very elegant.. It would be a great wedding card.. Invite or a lovely sympathy card (with a different greeting of course)...

I love that you can Google our stamp sets or search on Pinterest to get SO many ideas if you are stuck... And if you see design that you like you can substitute the stamps for something else.. or just simply be inspired by several cards and creatively combine them together in one masterful work of art!!!

Here's to thinking outside the box and creating a variety of projects with your beloved stamp sets and die cuts!!!
ENJOY!!!!

April 2017 Artful Angels Training

Our April meeting had a challenge .. I was to create a variety of craft items with the one stamp set...

This is what Rosa did... She made a beautiful gift box, gift bag and card...

I was kind of cheating with my samples as I had had a few classes in April  so I double dutied.. by making my classes based on the one stamp set...

This is what I did with the Lift Me Up stamp set (142896 - $37) and Up & Away Die cuts... (142748 - $50)

And this is what I did with the Floral Phrases (141767 - $31) and Detailed Floral Thinlet Dies (141482-$49)

A couple of cards... A Chockie holder.. A Pop Up card.. a Napkin ring and a Survival box of goodies.. It's good to challenge yourself to do different things.. think outside the box.

Rosa had a stall at a retirement place and had made a few things to go sell on the day... She was kind enough to share her ideas with us..

These peg have retired DSP, Card stock or Washi tape on them with a magnet on the back side so you can use them as note holders on your fridge... COOL idea!! And packaged up so nicely!!!

And she made these two little boxes of chockies

This was one of the projects we did.. a cute little pop out card..

Pull the ribbon side and out pops the greeting and a space to put a little flat treat like a heart chockie or after dinner mint...

LOVING the new In-color Lemon Lime Twist it is such a GORGEOUS colour!!!
The technique on this card is double daubering.. dauber in a light colour first and then dauber in a slightly darker shade of similar colour. The outer edge of the white card here has lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide.. Daubered..

The flower image has been inked up at first with Lemon Lime Twist and then with a Dauber you can add a little of the Tranquil tide to the stamp and then Stamp as you would normally -being sure to hole the image to the card stock a little longer than you normally would...

This was the 2nd project we did.. The lovely Rose Wonder Stamp Set (140697 -$47) and Rose Garden Thinlets (140619 - $54) ..

Using old XRays (or Acetate Sheets) you can cut out with the thinlets and make your very own masking sheets... We daubered with our ink to create the colour of the flower and leaves.. and then we stuck the matching card stock over the top a little off skew. We also used reinker and isicole in a Aqua Paint pen to add the splashes of ink... It's a nice distressing technique...

We decided on the stamp set for our July Fundraiser day... (Seaside Shore 141625) and we talked about possible projects to do...
I made this card on a getaway with a friend and just fell in love with the stamp set..
I took inspiration from picture of a card on page 122 (2017-18) Catty.. Star of Light .. I loved the daubering and thought I could do something like that with many colours to create an ocean look...

One of the projects we really want to do is to stamp on tiles... these were a few I had a play around with...

We are hoping to do this with tiles.. if we can find the right ones for the right price...  And of course use the Seaside Shore stamp set on the tiles..

I can't wait to do the projects... So much fun..

Classic Dad Pop Up Card

This style of Pop Up card is one of the very first cards I made about 10 years ago in a training meeting.. I loved it so much back then.. that I just have to revisit the design every now and ten and recreate it with different stamp sets..  This has been stamped with Guy Greetings (138828)
When you open the card and pull on opposite ends the little insert in the middle POP'S up to greet you... again another WOW card.. and it really does make the receiver feel happy!!

Stamp Storage Cases

Did you know that you can use the Standard Stamp Cases (119105) as a gift box for a set of cards??
its a great idea to have your cards sorted into greetings.. Quick and easy premade cards... On the shelf for your convenience...

Rainbow greetings.... This is a fun Idea.. use a baby wipe as a custom coloured Ink pad.... simply drop re-inker drops onto it.. leaving a little space in between each colour to allow them not to get too muddy...  Then take a big solid word stamp and stamp onto the baby wipe - then stamp image onto your card stock allow it to sit just a little longer than you would normally.. just so the ink has a chance to soak into the card stock.

Tri-Fold Shutter Card

I've been wanting to do one of these cards for a little while now.. and Finally I did at my Monday Card class.. Everyone loved it... Using up some of my old DSP we made this elegant card... once you get the folding scoring and cutting right this card is actually quite simple!!!

And it gets the WOW effect from all who see it!!

HOPE - Ribbon of Courage

I made this BEAUTIFUL card for a friend whose baby passed recently... It is with retired DSP's but I was able to used my lovely friends (Jennifer's) NEW Ribbon of Courage Stamp set... And I don't own the alphabet thinlets so I just printed out the letters onto card stock and cut them out...
Inspiration and design for this card was TOTALLY CASED from Patty Bennett's BEAUTIFUL card she shared a few weeks ago on our Demo Party FB Page!
Thank you Patty... So very much...
It means so much to my friend as HOPE stands for How One Perceives Everything... According to her... This saying helped her nurse a CRITICALLY ill child for two years... A Beautiful little spirit that the Dr's wrote off in the first few days of his life here on Earth... She was a TRUE inspiration and AMAZING woman!!!

I Love the Demo FB Page and all the sharing everyone does!! Thank you ALL for the inspiration!!!!!

This was little Bronsons 2nd Birthday cake... His memorial was held on his birthday...

Up Up and Away

This stamp set had to be one of my Most favorite ones!!! Lift me up.. and the FANTASTIC die cuts also.... You can do so much with them and the cards look FANTASTIC!!!

Here are some waterclolur techniques... so easy to do...  and cutting out BEAUTIFUL glimmer paper.. this is the glimmer paper form our last sale -a- bration... so stunning

Chalk technique... Stamping in Whisper White ink then colouring in with our lovely watercolour pencils gives you this great Chalkboard look... It's a popular technique to teach..

This is a great way to use up some of your left over DSP.. by making a cute little pocket to put a treat.. (like a Ferrero Rocher) into the little space... something nice to give to a friend or a random stranger to say thanks...

Swing Card

This card is so much easier to make than it looks...  and it is one of those that give you a WOW when someone opens it...

Best reaction EVER!!!

Happy Birthday Card

Who doesn't love a HAPPY BIRTHDAY with lots of glitter and star bursts???

Here's one that just makes you want to be happy!!!

Using the stunning glimmer paper and some die cuts you can make any BIRTHDAY card look FANTASTIC!!

Deluxe Card

Don't you love the somewhat shabby chic look of this card...?

I love separating the Stampin Up card stock and creating BEAUTIFUL 3D flowers...

Paper doily's and scrunching the layers of the flower petals is a great way to create 3d-edness and texture...

Of course you need to decorated a DELUXE card like this on the inside as well.... so a bit of gathered ribbon and some more flower petal layers does the job PERFECTLY!!!

And some more decorating of the greeting and message space... Just adds the finishing touches...

Super Hero - Comic Cards

I know these are now "retired" but I will be hanging onto them for a while longer as they are SUPER COOL... How much fun is it to make your own comic style cards?? So bright and FUN!!! Great for all ages!!!
This was a FANTASTIC Stamp n Stack class I did a few months ago.. I am only now posting the pics of them.... so slack I know... but better late than never right???

Inspiration was taken from a number of Pinterest posts... Loving it!!!
