Using Scraps - Stamp n Stack
I think maybe I have been a little obsessed with the Ombre look.. this card is a great card to make with the circle punch and emboss the layers with different embossing folders to give it a texture... We punched heaps of circles and made two of these cards...
This is another one of my FAVORITES!!! I love it!!! if you get 4 Long strips of card stock and emboss and ink the embossing folders to use them as a stamp you can create such a great quilted look... by cutting the strips into four pieces and placing them down in a pattern... It's a little fiddly but it is so worth the finished look!!!
Mini Album - On Film Die Cuts
How Awesome are the on Film Die Cuts?? (Product # 132969 $49.95)
I really wanted to create a mini album using envelopes.. The best thing about envelopes being the base of the album is that you instantly have pockets for your hidden tags and journaling... We had so much fun with this project.. and I love that the photo frames are like a Polaroid photo... If you glue down the bottom end only you can slip in the photos at any time...I can't wait to put my photos into my project!!!
Here is what the pages and the inserts look like...
Stamp and Stack Class
I love That Stampin' Up! has so many scallop circle punches... its fun to layer them on a card... I layered this one with dimentionals in between each layer on the inside of the card.. and in the front when I punched a circle the layered scallops peek through...
I have a heap of Cream and White card that needs to be used up.. from cutting different sized mats etc.. so when I got the idea for this card I was glad... It's amazing what you can do with a little coloured Designer Paper, a few bits of card some stamps, daubers, punches etc... no one would ever know that it started as just some plain cream card stock....
A little Bit of Washi Tape
Purple Ombre Page and Borders Class
Ombre is the new "In" THANG... people are wearing clothes like it.. dying their hair like it and we are scrapbooking and card making in Ombre style... It is a BEAUTIFUL thing!!!! Going from Light to dark or Dark to light in different shades of a colour is a great effect...
It is Simple and Beautiful....
And when you are not wanting to create a whole page why not create some borders to add to pages later... lots of layers, colours and shapes can created fantastic borders...

12" x 12" Scrapbook Page Mini Ablum Card
I saw this fantastic Idea on the internet.. and I took the idea and ran with it... It took me a wile to figure out the measurements to make the 12" x 12" page fold just right.. but I think it is a fantastic little pocket card mini album!!! And so worth the time it took to work out the measurements...
This is the inside of the first layer.. you could mat these sections too if you wanted.. more room for photos and journaling...
And this is the inside with the whole page opened up... Such a great little project.. and once you have done one it is much easier to do more...
I hope you enjoy re-creating this BEAUTIFUL project...
Enjoy.... the instructions....
Commumity Card Class
Here are some of the cards we have made recently at KENG Community Card Class... These first two were made with scraps and punches...
This little Easter one is a cute design too.. It is a very easy one... I find simple is great to show people a technique or to show how to use scraps and keep the cost of the card down...
This one is made from offcuts when you cut a matt for your cards... I keep all of my little strips in a bag to use them later... My ladies loved this card as they all got to choose their own colours..
The technique used for this male card is called paper piecing... you stamp the image on paper or card stock and cut out the little pieces and then past them on the full immage...
Using the Decorative Label Punch and cutting out several colours you can layer them to make a larger border of colour on them.....
Ombre coloured cards are lovely too... by gluing them on the card base first and then putting the card through the Big Shot with an embossing folder adds another texture and level...
This lovely Shabby Chic Card is BEAUTIFUL.. One of my favourites... To get the textured Shabby look on the back mat you can brayer on some ink and then put it in the Big Shot and Emboss it... Then take your sanding block and rough it up a little..
This lovely little simple card is great to do when you are in a rush... you can churn out one of these in about 5 mins...
By Embossing the lovely Christmas wreath with Silver you can create a lovely Sympathy card...
