Big Shot Class - October 2011

Did you know that the Big Shot can cut many many different materials?
There are over 50 different materials that are listed at the end of this blog to let you know just some of the materials you can cut with the Big Shot dies....

This class was a great one... I showed the ladies how you can cut an ordinary tin baking tray with the big shot.. and it can be the sides that are all crinkled because the Big Shot's pressure is enough to flatten them out.. Then of course one you have cut your shape you can pop it through the Big Shot with an embossing folder to make the impressions on the foil... It creates a BEAUTIFUL embellishment that would compliment any project you can dream of...  And it's CHEAP...

We covered a piece of Chipboard with some DSP paper and stamped it with the wood-grain background stamp then inked the sides to give it the aged look.

You can also run through some overhead transparency sheets through with the embossing folders.. to create another lovely accent... This one here was created with the left overs from previous laminating... You know the bit that you cut off when the laminating sheet is longer than the actual thing you are laminating.

I found some magnifying sheets from the local bargin shop and thought it would be interesting to use on a project... it gives your DAP under a holographic look as you move it.. and you can stamp it with your Stayz On to create extra interest...

With this comprehensive list of materials below you can go to town and try them all out.. adding some extra texture and interest to your projects... ENJOY!!!!
