Simple Wedding Invites

Simple Wedding Invite

This is a lovely simple Invite for a wedding.... and Quite easy to make... you just need
Silver Card stock, Black Card stock, Velum, Silver embossing powder, VersaMark, Silver brads and some ribbon...of course you need to chose a stamp that will fit in with your theme too... Like Katie did with the Stars...

Once you have your wording organised you can print onto your vellum (make sure it is in standard not best as BEST will put too much ink on and it will smudge while printing...)... then you can cut them up and stamp them with the VersaMark and emboss... and add the other layers and the brad and ribbon on the top corner....

Air Dry Clay Stamping

Air Dry Clay Embellishment

How cool is this???? a couple of months ago I went to Liz's place and she had been playing with some clay and stamping... One of her hostess had shown her some cool tags that she had been making....  I was so impressed I had to go out and get me some JOVI air dry clay... so I could play too!!! See how the creative FEVER spreads so fast and wide!!! How EXCITING!!!!

The clay for this tag has been coloured with our Stampin' UP! reinkers and then GENTLY pushed into the Elegant Lines Embossing folder... (the negative side) so that the swirly design is risen on top of the tag.... then it was cut out with a scallop cookie cutter, poked a little hole for the twine to go into and then left to dry for at least a day.... (You may need to turn it ever few hours to get it to stay flat.. cause it likes to curl up a little) Once it was dry I daubered it with the Frosty White Shimmer Paint and stuck a wonderful rhinestone on it... Now I have this LOVELY little jar to keep my sons weekly bus money in.. It's not very manly,.... but I figure it will deter him from going in there unless he absolutely has to... heheh.. so far it has worked!!!

Go get you some clay and have your very own to play with!!!! It's fun!!!

New Recruit Designs

Vase Flower Mothersday Card

This a fantastic card that Kerri-Anne designed for her very first Stampin' Up! Party as a Demonstrator... How well did she do!!!??? I am very impressed with my ladies.. they are doing so well!!!!

Colourful - Stamp n Stack

7 Cards out of a One Page Wonder Sheet
I always love showing people the Stamp n Stack cards... You can have so much fun with them!!! I was playing with one of my new recruits and teaching her a few techniques and she was VERY interested in learning more about the Stamp n Stack... So this is the set of cards we created in our avo of fun together... Bright FUN colourful cards..... the combos are endless!!!

Have a go at creating your very own A4 page of "Random" stamping... Cut it up and see what you come up with.....

Enjoy!!!!!

BOYS - Need for SPEED

Boys.....???? Do the have a Need for Speeeeeeeeed????
Being that I am a mother of two very active healty boys... I would have to say a big YES!!!!
But they really do love this stamp set and these cards I made with them.... I only need to perfect the colouring in now and I will be more happy.... with them...

I couloured with my inkpads and an aqua painter pen.... and found that when you emboss over them with clear embossing it makes the colours POP!!! And they look great!!!

Circles of Card Stock Cards - Male Cards

Also if you have a whole lot of scraps; like I do... (I just can't throw them away) or you feel like creating your own background paper you can take your different size circle punches (I used 1/2", 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4" punches) and punch your little heart out.... then grab them all and throw them down on a white piece of A4 (seriously that is EXACTLY what I did). Then maybe do a little "arranging" .... then stick them all in place with a 2 Way Glue Pen.... This creates a FANTASTIC and interesting background for boys/male cards!!! I made these 6 cards out of the one piece of A4 with the circles on.... by cutting it up after I had created the whole A4 page...

Male Gate Fold Red Car CardWhile I was making these ones with one of my friends she showed me a card she had recently created and I thought it was great so I quickly grabbed a piece of card stock that was on the table (didn't feel like getting up at the time... my creative space is always so FULL OF STUFF when I am in the middle or at the end of a good session....) and a piece of DSP and wiped this card up... I'm not particularly happy with it but it's good for keeping the idea in my head for a little while at least.... :)

Male Gate Fold Red Car Card Open

The car embelishment is not attached to the DSP on the right side so that the gate fold card stock can go under it.. and the DSP helps to keep the gate folded card together more... it's an alternative to a Belly band... Not too bad...

Happy (Speedy boy) Creating ^_*
